An Immersive Jewellery-Making Experience in Cornwall – Would You Be Interested?
For a while now, I’ve been dreaming of offering small, intimate jewellery-making workshops—an experience that goes beyond technique and craft. More than just making jewellery, it would be about slowing down, exploring textures, emotions, and creativity—connecting with both the craft and the landscape.
There’s something truly special about creating with your hands, feeling the raw materials transform under your fingertips, and infusing each piece with meaning. And what better place to do this than in Cornwall, surrounded by the rugged beauty of the coastline, the shifting textures of sand and stone, and the ever-changing light over the sea?
Two Ways to Experience Jewellery-Making in Cornwall
I’m considering offering two types of experiences:
1. A One-Day Workshop
A focused day of creativity in my private Cornwall studio, where you’ll explore textures, design, and craft your own meaningful piece of jewellery. Perfect for those who want to dive into the process, experiment with materials, and leave with something truly personal.
2. A Fully Immersive 3–4 Day Retreat
This would be something much deeper—a full creative escape blending jewellery-making with the essence of Cornwall. Imagine exploring the textures of the coastline, gathering inspiration from the land and sea, and translating those impressions into a one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery. Shared meals, creative space, and the option to stay nearby would make this a truly special experience. The piece you create wouldn’t just be jewellery—it would be a lasting connection to a place that speaks to you, a wearable memory of Cornwall’s wild beauty.
