Whispers of Brilliance – Now Available
I had planned to publish this blog post early this morning, but I also set out to run to the beach. The closest one is only about four miles away (~6km), but I couldn’t stop at that distance—I ran further, winding through woods, valleys, and quiet trails, taking in the fresh air and the subtle signs of spring.
More than a year in Cornwall, and I still feel something special every time I see the sea. Today was a perfect day—blue skies, crisp air, and the quiet beauty of early spring. My route took me through villages, woods, valleys, and coastal paths, collecting the views, feeding my soul, and listening to the sounds of spring—the rush of a strong river, birds in song, the stillness of the morning.
Some pieces hold more than beauty—they carry moments, landscapes, and stories. Whispers of Brilliance, my latest collection, is an intimate reflection of my journey—across landscapes, memories, and time. A few of these one-of-a-kind pieces are now available on my website. They are so uniquely handmade that replication is simply not possible.
This collection was born from my coastal path run last year, tracing the wild stretch from Marsland Mouth to Penzance. Along the way, I witnessed the ever-changing textures of silence—the steadiness of the cliffs, the shifting light on the waves, the deep quiet of hidden coves. I took in the rugged rocks, golden light, and endless blue, letting them weave their way into my work. The intricate textures and infused hues of gold reflect these shifting landscapes, while champagne and cognac diamonds shimmer like sunlight dancing on water.
But there’s a personal thread, too. A childhood game lingers in my memory—”Secret.” We would dig a small hole, place flowers and leaves inside, cover it with glass, and hide it again beneath the earth. The real magic came when we uncovered it later—the beauty hidden beneath, waiting to be found. That same sense of discovery and quiet wonder lives in these pieces. The diamonds are set in a secretive way, nestled into the textures like treasures waiting to be uncovered, offering glimpses of brilliance only when the light catches them just right.
This collection is deep, irreplaceable, and full of warmth. It holds everything I’ve experienced, everything I’ve refined. I have pushed my techniques further than ever before—crafting even more intricate textures, blending metals to capture soft warmth and depth, and introducing more colour than in any collection before.
Each piece tells a story of movement, stillness, discovery, and transformation—from childhood to now, from Cornwall’s wild paths to the quiet glow of something precious, waiting to be found.
