2024: A Year to Remember, 2025: A Year to Create
I’ve been quiet for a few weeks, fully immersed in the holiday season and the beauty of family time. 2024 was the most wonderful year our family has ever experienced, and this festive season gave us the perfect opportunity to reflect, connect, and truly enjoy. We were surrounded by beauty—from nature’s gifts to the warmth of family and friends visiting us, which was so lovely.
From making festive foods to spending quality time at the beach and visiting the magical Christmas-themed Trelissick and Killerton Houses, we created unforgettable memories. Moving to Cornwall has been transformative for us—it’s given us the water we needed so much: the ocean, rivers, breathtaking surroundings, and a profound connection to nature. These experiences brought me moments of joy so deep I didn’t even know they were possible.
One other thing that stood out this year was the presence of fire: its warmth and the feeling it creates at home, and the magic of fires at the beach. These moments grounded me, serving as a form of meditation and reminding me of the simple beauty of life.
As I step into 2025, I feel a familiar mix of pressure and excitement. Reflecting on such a remarkable year makes the idea of improving it feel like a big challenge. But I’ve felt this way before—years ago, I struggled with this same thought, and then we moved to Cornwall, which changed everything. The new year is always my time to reflect, to decide how I want to grow and what I want to nurture in my life.
2024 taught me valuable lessons about balance—or the lack of it. Juggling my passion for jewellery (calling it “work” doesn’t feel quite right), family, and personal time was a real challenge. I often found that thriving in one area came at the expense of another. Long to-do lists and overly ambitious plans left little room to simply enjoy the moment. And when I did allow myself to enjoy life fully, I felt guilty for not “doing” enough, as I once used to.
This year, I’m approaching things differently. My plan is simple and aligned with my current life. I’ll strive for balance by working steadily across all areas, making decisions quickly but changing them slowly.
One of the most important lessons I learned last year was how to say “no.” Living in such a beautiful place, surrounded by nature and wonderful people, I often felt torn between endless opportunities and the limits of my time. In 2025, I’ll choose more wisely, prioritising the experiences that truly matter to my family and me, while letting go of things that don’t align with our goals.
Exciting News!
To close an already incredible year, I’m thrilled to share that my Diamond Gleam Collection has been featured in MOEVIR Magazine.
To all of you—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your purchases and connection mean everything to me…
One of my goals last year was not just to feel inspired but to inspire others. I hope I’ve brought a little more beauty into your lives, and I’ll strive to create even more this year.
With Gratitude,
Agneta
