Finding Joy in Everyday Moments: My Journey in Cornwall
When we moved to Cornwall, I envisioned serene evenings by the fire, a glass of wine in hand, savouring the beauty around me. Each night, I took a moment to appreciate what I have, dreaming of a life where I did less and enjoyed just “being” more. Despite the challenges, the move brought immense beauty and joy.
In Cornwall, I find myself in a different state, one I didn’t know existed. A walk on the beach makes all problems disappear, reminding me how happy I am. Every time I go out, I feel that now I have everything I ever dreamed about. But most of the time when I try to work, I start to panic. Maybe it’s not right, maybe I’m not checking off to-do lists, not waking up as early as I did, not following my plans as I always did…
Before, I lived working and dreaming about tomorrow, and that felt fulfilling because I felt I was working hard towards something. Now, I already live in that tomorrow I was dreaming about. I am here today, feeling happy and relaxed, but at the same time panicking that I should be more like my previous self—waking up at 4:00 am and diligently checking off my to-do list. So much has changed in my life—changes I often don’t talk about. As always, I strive to improve my life and embrace upcoming changes as opportunities for refinement, even when uncertainty looms. I believe that every challenge brings a new opportunity for growth and joy.
How do you find joy in everyday life? How do you manage ups and downs and conflicts with yourself? For me, experiencing beauty is everything. Even in times of doubt or sadness, I remind myself that these moments are fleeting, and beauty is always waiting to be discovered in the everyday moments. One of the ways I reconnect with this sense of beauty and peace is by running along the Cornwall coast path. Exploring new places and sharing my finds brings me immense joy. These moments of exploration and connection provide solace and inspiration.
So many around me seem to have all the answers, ready to teach and advise others. Yet, the further I go, the more I realise how much I don’t know. Whenever I think I may have found some answers, life presents a situation that turns my understanding upside down.
I am deeply grateful for all of you. My jewellery journey is like writing a diary—deep, immense, and intimate. It’s often solitary, but your interactions add meaning and reward to my journey. I appreciate every one of you, for your purchases, kind words, and the chance to know you. Those brief but meaningful connections are priceless. Please help me serve you better.
I offer 100-day returns on most pieces, a lifetime warranty, free delivery, and complimentary renewing, re-polishing, or re-patinating of your jewels once a year. I also provide Klarna and PayPal Pay in 3 options. What else could I do? During my last sale, I noted that some of you need more time to plan for birthdays or find gift ideas. Some of you have even asked for personalised gift suggestions. Would it be helpful if I sent personalised recommendations or reminders before special events? If so, how far in advance? Your ideas would be invaluable; I want to serve you better. Thank you to those who have already purchased!
Your insights and feedback help me grow and improve continuously!
Savour the hues of beautiful golden summer gleam,
Agneta
