I would be grateful if you could help me

I would be grateful if you could help me

So while most people have had more quiet time than usual I been very busy, busy as never before, working on all my goals. Working on forming them into reality. I have decided that NOW, in these unpredictable times, is the best time ever to do everything I was thinking and dreaming of for some time. I am so excited to share all the exciting news with you about what I’ve been up to – just to mention one thing – some even finer pieces with diamonds to complete my collection. I have been working harder than ever on refining and improving. In my ‘to do’ list I had written that I want to offer more to my customers, so I hope you will be as excited as I am to see what I will have to offer for both men and women. But about all the exciting news a bit later, in my next newsletter.

I have been thinking a lot. I would like somehow to give more. I wondered if you might give me some ideas – what could I do better, what more I could offer/give? Whatever it might be – range of products, delivery costs, returns, warranty, repair service, whatever really, even if it sounds crazy, please I am really open for any ideas… What stops you (if anything) from buying my beautifully made, refined-to-perfection jewellery? I would be grateful if you email me on info@agnetabugyte.com with your thoughts.

The last orders are available to buy until 14th August to be posted on 15th August before I take a holiday. Finally I will have some time to spend with my family, experience lots of adventures and enjoy the wonderful summer. I will also learn a new skill and as always work little bit. All the orders after the 14th August will be posted on 8th September. I am sorry for any inconvenience it may cause you.

Look out for my next newsletter with lots of exciting news. In the meantime I want to wish you wonderful weather, a beautiful summer and lots of different experiences to cherish.

P.S. Let me know your ideas on what could I do for you, and how can I give more.

My Big Thank You

My Big Thank You – and also what I am excited about right now!

First of all I would like to thank you. I wouldn’t be able to create without you believing in me. I am so happy and grateful for being able to do what I love and what I do best. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you. Thank you for those who bought my work, especially recently, in these unpredictable times; it is so important for me both financially and psychologically. Thank you. Because of you I been able to design, make and keep improving. I am finally working on a ‘men/unisex’ collection that I have been thinking of for a couple of years now. And it seems NOW is just the right time. It’s still quiet in the world but so much is happening in my world ~ completely the opposite from the usual situation ~ this summer all my plans and dreams should come true.
In the early autumn the very fine white gold collection with diamonds will be launched just at the right time before the Elite Event I will be part of.

Publications

-I am excited about the inclusion of my pair of Gold Grains Studs in The Jeweller, Spring 2020 edition.
-my Black and Gold Collection was published in Laxary, Germany’s Exclusive Online Magazine.
– a Gold Grains Bracelet appeared in Inhorgenta Daily, Munich;
– and my business was included in the book ‘Reliance Motor Services: The Story of a Family-Owned Independent Bus Company’.
While it is the story of a company and of a family over four generations, it is also very much a story about Brightwalton in the past and in the present, the lovely village I am working and living in.
-and the biggest highlight of the year I am thrilled to announce that two of my bracelets have been selected out of more than 5000 bracelets and will be published in the stunning upcoming book “New Bracelets” by Nicolas Estrada. The book will feature about 400 works by 200 contemporary jewellery artists. Fabulous!

Interviews
I have been interviewed by Wolf & Badger press here to read the interview. This was really interesting to do as I had the chance to review my path from dreamy child to focussed jewellery artist, and to see how the foundations for my work were laid very early in my life – but uncovering the path took lots of time, training and effort!

Events
I am very excited to announce that I will be showing my work and participating in the Elite London Show from October 2-3 rd . My work will be exhibited in the Luxury Brand Show, more details to follow later this summer. Press here to read more about the event.

 Archive Sale
I have added a few more pieces on promotion with 20% off. It’s a great opportunity to buy the beautiful jewellery you maybe dreamed, for less. Click here to explore more.

Enjoy these bizarre times … Pour beauty into life

Enjoy these bizarre times … Pour beauty into life

Times are strange and uncertain right now and yet I have a bizarre statement to make, that I feel so happy
Spring, when everything in nature is changing and promising new life and hope. The sun is shining and we can enjoy the fine weather. Bird song reaches a peak during spring: the perfect treat for the ears. It is the season when nature explodes back into life and sharpens the senses.
Spending time outside in the sunny spring weather isn’t just a mood booster, it actually can change the way people think. Research shows that being outdoors broadens peoples’ minds, opening them to new information and creative thoughts …

So instead of thinking about what’s wrong, let’s focus on the things we can do, on the possibilities we have.

I feel like finally I have Time… the time enough to do everything I wanted but… I haven’t done… this is the best time ever to –

    • slow down and enjoy life. Enjoy the spring and starry nights…
    • feel grateful for what I have.
    • turn time with my children into great memories.
    • create more beauty in my life and others’
    • stop and listen. Not just listen but hear …
    • read more books
    • improve. Be ‘better me’, at everything I do for family and customers
    • exercise every day
    • design, sketch – rings, brooches, cufflinks
    • work on my Road Map, my goals & dreams
    • work on my display
    • do the 10 days mental diet (think only of positive things, bring my wandering mind back to the positive: if I dwell in my negative thoughts, to re-start the diet as soon as I notice it.)
    • enjoy everything I do

I am so happy I have the opportunity to do many things that get left undone. I disappoint myself and others and this is the time to make a change, to make it right this time…

I think I am my best self when I create some beauty… So I will simply pour my best skills into this, pouring beauty into life.

On Beauty

On Beauty

I love rocks, volcanoes, rough textures, and the hoarse sounds the ocean makes as the
waves break out on the shore. I love the silence and crash of the water in a waterfall. I love to
be surrounded by still landscapes.

inspiration-silence

I want to feel the textures and hear the voices of what I see. I want to hear the voices of the
wind and rain; to smell the damp earth, the whispering grass. I need to hear the sentient hush
of the landscape. For me, beauty is more sensory than visual. I somehow have to feel what I
see.

Humanity, motion and emotion, and nature, all inspire me with their wild beauty and raw
grace. I love wrinkles. And old people. They know so much; their opinions are refined from
experience. And young people who have found their path early, and walk it without fakery or
pretence. And the raw, smoker’s voice of the unusual guy just being himself, creating his
music, lost in his own self-expression. There is beauty to be found in originality, and also in
the innocence of childhood. Somehow the sea, the rocks, the people are all comfortable in
their own skins, and I find inspiration in this natural beauty.

New Collection

New Collection

In the millennial way a glacier grazes its way through a landscape, etching rocks, tumbling stones to glassy smoothness, inscribing its signature across time and place, so my new collection is distilled.
As forever, I am inspired by the wild beauty and raw grace of landscape written by the elements, wind, rain, fire and ice.
And so my new collection, into which I have poured everything I had, is a limited edition of, to my mind, pure perfection and grace.

My materials are smooth shining 18-carat nubs of gold grains, which contrast against black patinated silver. The techniques used to create the texturing or etching of the silver rods is immensely subtle, demanding time, patience, and knowing exactly the right moment to proceed both for the design and the process. These techniques need to be repeated several times. The result is delicate and unique; gold grains glowing against patinated black silver, just as the evening sea gleams against rough cliffs.

Feel your way into this new collection ~ and feel comfortable in your own skin.

Limited Edition – Seeking Perfection

Limited Edition – Seeking Perfection

One of a kind vs limited edition

One-of-a-kind describes a piece of jewellery that is unlike any other. It is used to describe a product that is the only one of its type. It is unique.

Limited Edition describes the pieces I make: a few pieces, each of which is different, and that will only be made for a certain amount of time.

I come from an art background and training, and was made to believe that an artist should be full of ideas, and should create only one of a kind pieces. All creativity should go into this one object.
However, my preferred method is about going a lot deeper into making one product, being a lot more specific and concentrating a lot more. This way I will have a lot more time to purify one specific piece, researching the design, the comfort, and the look and feel of it. I am anxious not to stop there, but to await feedback and comments and incorporate this into another version.

I am a perfectionist, and the way it is for me, something is never just ‘okay’. It has to be better. I choose to improve every product, to make it better each time I make it, because every single piece is made individually.
I choose to add value through quality.
Before something is made I spend a lot of time on research, designing the process to ensure the jewellery will be comfortable to wear, all the roughness smoothed away, so it feels lovely to the touch and won’t snag in hair or clothing.
In my way of constantly improving my Limited Editions, I am still making One-of-A-Kind pieces – the gold grains are all different, the colour of the patination is always different, the brushed finish on a patinated surface is always different. Each piece is totally individual, unique.

ONE-OF-A-KIND – it’s great it makes you feel special, because you are the only one who owns it.
LIMITED EDITION – You are one of the few people owning a piece. And it’s unique! There will be no other exactly the same as yours. The design and development processes have been constantly refined, resulting in several individual, but disparate, pieces.
